Someone is in danger right now

Contact your local emergency services first. We are a small team and cannot respond instantly, and we are not a substitute for the police or a crisis line.

Once you are safe, tell us — we will act on it.

Report someone

The fastest route is in the app: tap the ⋯ menu in a chat or on a profile, then Report. That reaches our moderation queue straight away, with the context attached.

If you cannot get into the app, email support@borachingu.app and tell us what happened. Reports about someone under 18, threats, or sexual content involving a minor go to the top of the queue.

Appeal a decision

If we removed something of yours, froze or banned your account, and you think we got it wrong, you can contest it. Every notice we send explains what happened and why, and includes an appeal link.

You can appeal from inside the app even while your account is suspended — open it and follow the link on the suspension screen. Or email support@borachingu.app. A human re-reads it. If we were wrong, we reverse it.

Common questions

I can't sign in

Borachingu has no passwords. You enter your email and we send you a sign-in link. If it has not arrived: check spam, make sure you used the same address you signed up with, and request a fresh link — older links stop working once a new one is sent.

Why do I need a selfie to send messages?

Because everyone else had to do it too. The selfie is compared with your profile photos to check they are the same person, which is what stops the app filling up with fake profiles. It is deleted after the check. You can decline — you just will not be able to message people.

I'm 18+ but was blocked by the age check

The date of birth you enter is permanent, and we cannot simply flip it — if we could, the age gate would not be worth much. Email support@borachingu.app and a person will look at it.

Someone is being romantic with me

Borachingu is for friendship. It is not a dating app, and pushing for romance after being asked to stop is a bannable offence, not a grey area. Report it.
